
The Dump Truck
I’m Chris, aka ‘The Dump Truck’ (more on the name below). I’m married with two teen girls, so there’s never a dull moment in the house.
I make my living as an IT architect in the Fin-tech space. Once I leave corporate america, my hope is to run a food truck called… you guessed it. Maybe not the most appealing name, but it sounds like something I would want to check out the menu.
I’ve had a joy for cooking since I was young, and I love cooking for my friends and family. I usually just wing it or use recipes as a general guide. I can’t say all my cooks are winners, and when they are, I sometimes struggle to reproduce. Which is one of the reasons behind starting a blog.
I hope you find some of the recipes from me and dudes helpful, and be sure to drop us a comment on something you want us to cook or feedback on our cooks.

Mad Donkey
My name is Brian Walsh. I love cooking with fire and smoke. The hobby gradually presented itself to me over time. What was once a chore has turned into a passion. It all started out with a single gas grill and has turned into a whole designated outdoor cooking area with several different cooking apparatuses.

My favorite thing to do is experiment, like a mad scientist, with different recipes, seasonings, and techniques. I’m very fortunate and thankful to have friends and family that trust me to test my ideas through grilling and smoking food. I have had enormous support and encouragement from these folks. It always makes it worthwhile to see smiles, messy fingers, and full bellies.
How would I describe my style? Rule number one: there are no rules! I take the approach of just having fun. Most of my ideas were inspired by other Pitmasters, and even some from friends. You never know where you may learn something new, and I’m always learning!
